I am so excited to begin the 2023-2024 as Academic Coach at Glenellen Elementary School. I am originally from East Tennessee but have called Clarksville my home for the last 17 years. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Austin Peay State University. My Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education was obtained from Carson-Newman University. I have completed the McREL Balanced Leadership Training for Administrators. I have experience teaching Kindergarten, First Grade, Fifth Grade, and Seventh Grade, and I was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2021. My husband, Joey, and I have been married for 16 years, and we have a 13-year-old who loves to play soccer. We spend most of our free time traveling to soccer games. Before my career in education, I owned my own sign company and traveled to 48 states. I am thrilled to be spending my 12th year as an educator serving the students, parents, guardians, and staff of Glenellen Elementary.
