• Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC)
    Every military-connected child is college-, work-, and life-ready. MCEC supports all military-connected children by educating, advocating, and collaborating to resolve education challenges associated with the military lifestyle. The enduring strategic goals that the Military Child Education Coalition seeks are:
    • Military-connected children’s academic, social and emotional needs are recognized, supported and appropriate responses provided.
    • Parents, and other supporting adults, are empowered with the knowledge to ensure military-connected children are college, workforce and life-ready.
    • A strong community of partners is committed to support an environment where military-connected children thrive.

  • Military Interstate Children's Compact Commision
    The Compact provides information addressing ket educational transition issues encountered by military families including enrollment, pleacement, attendance, eligbility, and graduation. 

  • Military Once Source
    A central hub and go-to place for military community: Military One Source provides information about military benefits, deployments, reintegration, moves, parenthood, retirement, and more. 

  • Veterans Crisis Line
    Connects veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, and/or text. Veterans and their loved ones can call 1-800-273-8255; Press 1, chat online, and/or send a text message to 838255 to receive confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Support for deaf and hard of hearing individuals is avilable. 

  • National Military Family Association
    Provides information and resources related to services and programs for militry families. 

  • Our Military Kids
    A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to provide support (grants) and recognition to military children. Grants pay for participation in activities that help children cope with stress and anxiety while their parents are recovering or absent. 

  • Military Impacted Schools Association
    A national organization of school superintendents with a higher concentration of military students. Provides useful links for military families and educator resources. 

  • Tutor.com for U.S. Military Families
    All K-12 children in Nationl Guard, Reserve and Active Duty Military families are eligible to receive one-on-one academic support 24/7 in math, science, English and more, regardless of the service member's branch or deployment status. Provides this service at no cost to K-12 military children through funding by the DOD MWR Liberty Porgram, the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program and the Navy General Library Program. Grade K-12 students in military families can take full advantage of this valuable academic benefit.
