I was born and raised in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. I still reside in Hopkinsville with my 90 year-old mother and my sister, Darlene, who is retired from Ft. Campbell. While at home, I enjoy reading, watching British, Irish, and Australian television series, and working on my lawn during the spring and summer.
I hold a Political Science degree, and an Elementary Education teacher certification from Austin Peay State University, as well as a Paralegal certification from Southeastern Paralegal Institute in Nashville, Tennessee.
In 2019, I retired from teaching First Grade at Norman Smith Elementary School in Clarksville, Tennessee. From 2019-2021, I worked with kindergarten at University Heights Academy in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
I returned to CMCSS in 2021. I am thrilled about becoming a part of the Minglewood family and am excited about this new school year.
